When you press the ‘Login’ button, DataTrust will perform the following actions:

• Extracts the Ftp info related to the selected project (profile) and the selected host.
• Connects to the selected host.
• If it fails to connect an error message will be displayed, otherwise the next actions will take place.
• If the project is on multi-host, DataTrust will check if the hosts are synchronized. If hosts are unsynchronized then the synchronization process will take place in background first. This process may take some time depending of the volume of unsynchronized data.
• Updates its menu and toolbar (icons) to reflect the ‘Connect’ state.
• Displays the remote structure of the projects (folders).
