During a DataTrust session, DataTrust reads and writes data from/to the profile, the profile’s data is encrypted so this process requires a key (password).

If DataTrust is previously set to remember this key (password) then DataTrust uses the saved key to read the profile and automatically shows the main menu, otherwise it will prompt for the key (password).
