Click 'Start' on your window toolbar

Under Programs select DataTrust then click the DataTrust globe icon.

 

The initial “DataTrust Settings Panel” will appear.

Choose the 'Non-Subscriber' version.

Choose the 'Register' action

Select a pass question.

Enter an answer for the pass question

Press the 'Continue' button.

 

The "Online Payment" form will appear.

Fill out the required fields of the online payment form.

Provide your credit card information, we accept MasterCard and Visa.

Press 'Submit >>' to continue.

 

 

The "Cost Reminder" dialog will appear.

Press the 'Yes' button to continue .

Press the 'No' button to quit.

 

 

The 'DataTrust: Settings' dialog will appear

Fill in all fields with your preferred information and password. Only the licensee name cannot be changed.

IF NEEDED, use the “Clear All” button to blank all the fields.

When you have entered your preferred settings and recorded your licensee name and password, press the ‘Continue’ button to proceed.

 

 

 

At this point DataTrust will create your profile.

Enter a passphrase. Your passphrase will be used to secure your profile. Your passphrase may contain any number and combination of characters you desire.

Retype the passphrase.

If the ‘Remember Passphrase’ box is checked, DataTrust will not prompt for the passphrase at launch time. Instead your passphrase will be stored and anyone using your computer will have access to DataTrust.

If the ‘Start Minimized’ box is checked, the DataTrust dialog box will automatically minimize when it launches.

You may change these settings after initial set up using the DataTrust ‘Preferences’ menu.

Press 'Ok" to continue.

Press 'Cancel' to quit.

 

 

The DataTrust main menu will appear.

Now you can explore all the DataTrust functions! Most are not covered in this tutorial, to learn more about all the functions look in the Help file.
