Backup Preferences

Invoked from menu item Owner --> Backup Preferences

Clicking this menu item will upload a copy of the local preferences to a DatatTrust site.

DatatTrust saves your backup under the names of your current license, preference file and user ID. Thus, several users with different ID's can save their own unique configurations. A user can backup up each of his preference files. However, if users of the same license share the same user ID and preference file name, they must take care not to overwrite each other's backup.

If the local configuration is damaged or lost, it can be restored by Recover/Copy.

Recover/Copy can also copy the stored configuration to other machines.
